Addendum: Extension of Site Inspection and Closing Date: Proposals are hereby invited for the provision of underground services detection for the upgrade of bulk civil services at the Port of Port Elizabeth for a once-off period. Scope of Work: a) Site establishment and mobilization; b) Fulfill compliance requirements for client management conditions. This includes health and safety, quality management, risk management, environmental management, monthly reporting, cost and schedule management and interface management; c) Identification and classification of all the existing underground services as indicated on the layout drawing (Annexure A) on the various surfaces found on site; d) Provision of orientation (route, cover levels, invert levels, depth and junction positions) of all the underground services; e) Provision of a survey report documenting all underground services identified and their details (type, diameter, material, etc); f) Provision of complete AutoCAD and PDF drawings; g) Provision of Excel and/or CSV files showing a complete list of points used and their positions (i.e., X, Y, Z coordinates and lengths where applicable) as per final AutoCAD and PDF drawings; h) List of all acronyms and abbreviations that will be used; i) Close out all activities, complete with a full handover of all deliverables in electronic format and associated contractual deliverables. Re-Advertisement: Bids are hereby invited for the appointment of land surveying services for a period of thirty six months (36 months) on as and when required. The following services will be required from the appointed Land Surveyor: Undertaking preparatory work by: - Reviewing existing relevant documentation / information if any (collection of data); - Visiting the site to obtain survey information; - Liaising with the municipal officials and the Project Manager on a continuous basis throughout the duration of the project (progress reports); - Providing Planning and Local Economic Development with a schedule of actions, payment schedule and a time frame as and when requested by the municipality; - Attending Project Steering Committee meetings (monthly), as well as other meetings during which input from the Land Surveyor is required; - Depose affidavits and appear in court when required and such will be claimed as disbursement in accordance with the rate per hour; - Undertake physical features affecting rights to ownership; - Produce and submit a detailed topographical plan indicating permanent, survey reports, semi-permanent structures, pipelines, power lines, servitudes, spot shots and all other features that will enhance proper planning with contours as stipulated in the Land Survey Act 8 of 1997, Geomatics Profession Act 19 of 2013, Ordinance 15 of 1986, Proclamation R45 Act of 1990 and Proclamation of R293, Spatial Planning and Land Use Management Act & its Regulations and Lepelle-Nkumpi SPLUMA By-Law 2017; - Submit the produced topographical plan and survey reports as and when required by the Municipality; - Collect an approved Layout Plan from the Municipality; - Prepare a General Plan in accordance with the approved Layout Plan; - Peg the area according to the prepared draft general plan and whitewash the beacons.
