The sand must be disposed and pushed to the edge (must not be disposed at the open field) at the western beach. The service provider must also attend to any sand leaks on the road that happens during the time of the project. The removal of sand is needed to restore the required water depths at the slipways. The required sand removal should therefore be done to a level that will accommodate the safe retrieval and launching of vessels in the Struisbaai Proclaimed Fishing Harbour. The service provider will be required to ensure that all sediment deposited on the beach is spread and levelled accordingly.
