The assessment will identify current issues, potential risks, and necessary maintenance or repairs to ensure that the facilities continues to meet high operational and safety standards. This will assist in planning for future upgrades and maintaining the Durban ICC"s status as a leading convention centre. Scope of Work: Comprehensive Asset Condition Assessment on the following asset classes although not limited to: 1. Electrical Infrastructure: - Transformer Protection Relays; - Power factor correction; - MV transformers; - MV/LV switchgear; - Generators; - UPS Systems inclusive of batteries; 2. Refrigeration: - Blast Chilling equipment; 3. Infrastructure: - Room dividing systems (Operable walls) and adjoining panels, tracks etc; - Durban Exhibition Centre Roof Structure; 4. Fire, safety and Building Management: - Inspection of fire systems, early warning systems, BMS (Building Management Systems) and evacuation systems; 5. Lifting Equipment: - Inspection of mobile elevating work platform (Cherry Picker) machinery. 6. Backup Water Supply: - Inspection of the precinct to identify suitable areas for backup water supply systems including assessment into the existing reticulation system to allow for seamless changeover; - Based on the information collected, a comprehensive Condition Audit will be prepared. This audit will provide an assessment of the equipment"s reliability and offer recommendations for the asset"s future, including whether it should be replaced or repaired. 7. Operational and Capital Budgets: - A status on the equipment via a RAG (Red, Amber, and Green) priority identification status table must be applied on the reporting to indicate the level of inefficiency of all relevant equipment. A plan for the remediation of these items must be part of the report (inclusive of proposed/budget costs); - A budget plan must be developed, covering the assets to be replaced along with their budgeted costs. Scope: AFSA is seeking services of prefabricated/modular building that can meet its operational requirements for the key Population One Stop Shop centre.
