Formal written price quotations are hereby invited for the following: Supply, installation and operation of integrated monitoring system in Velddrif. Scope: 1. Integrated PM2.5/PM10 Monitoring System built into a single mountable instrument housing suitable for pole mounting and consisting of: - Real Time PM2.5/PM-10 Air Quality Monitor including dual sensors and built-in wireless communication and internal storage. - Wireless Router compatible with PM2.5/PM10 monitor. - Power supply and battery backup system with solar panels to power monitor for two-day unattended operation as well as a mains operation option. - Installation at an identified site in Velddrif. 2. Operation (expected of service provider, but running cost will form part of the operational budget for 2023/2024 and 2024/2025): 1. Communication support for a two-year period include SIM costs/Server Hosting/Real-Time Data availability; 2. Calibration against a US EPA Reference or Equivalent Analyzer annually; 3. At least one additional gravimetric calibration via a co-located monitor once per annum; 4. Site visits twice per annum for calibration; 5. 12 x monthly Reports (2 years); 6. Sample analysis for data interpretation and report, including portion analysis, and laboratory cost; 7. Maintenance/repairs or normal wear of equipment parts and monthly quality checks.
