Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Provision of machining services for 4 months for Transnet Soc Ltd Terminals Richards Bay (TPT RCB), for a period of 4 months. Scope of work: Machining services for all breakdowns work: - The contractor will be required to provide machining services on 24 hours, 7 days a week (24/7) for all breakdown works; - The contractor must respond within 60 minutes after receiving a callout from TPT technical representative; - The contractor will be expected to use the drawing or collect the sample on site to machine a component. Machining services for all planned work: - TPT will require the contractor to participate in all maintenance shutdown planning requiring machining services; - The contractor will be expected to align with TPT plans to machine and have the components as per TPT plans.
