Extension of Closing Date and Amendment to Document: Tenders are hereby invited for the following: Design, manufacture, supply, delivery, removal, installation and commissioning of 2 (two) generators and associated auxiliaries at Kriel Power Station for a period of 4 years. Scope of Works: • Design, manufacture and installation of two (2) generators for Kriel Power Station; • Perform analysis, assessments and inspections of current plant and foundations to aid in the calculations for design of the generators; • Perform detail design of the generator and all required auxiliaries; • Manufacture and provide generator and all its auxiliaries; • Testing and quality assessments of all manufactured components; • Transportation and delivery of the generator to a storage site; • Quality control and handling of all components awaiting installation; • Decommissioning and removal of existing installations; • Provision of rigging and transportation equipment for the generators; • Installation of the new generator and auxiliaries; • Modification and strengthening of the civil foundations if required; • Perform all site required tests; • Commissioning of the generator and its auxiliaries; • The provision of maintenance spares.
