Scope of Work: The Professional Service Provider will be expected to provide the following services: Engineering designs (including engineering drawings and design reports) of the perway infrastructure to satisfy the following requirements: 75 wagon trains: - Arrival/Electric yard extension; - Yard signalling; - Departure yard extension; - Ferro Chrome Yard extension; - Moba Loop extension; 150 wagon trains for future Implementation: - Extension of Moba 1, 2 & 3 (Moba Loop extension); - Connection to Shincel from East End of Electric Yard; - 150 wagon Departure Line; - Balloon development lines. Project Objectives: The objectives for the project include the development of: a) The Bayvue Rail Yard to meet modern rail operations with longer trains; b) Support new cargo handling requirements; c) Provide new electrical supply to support the reconfiguration of the rail yard for longer trains; d) Provide new bulk services including water, sewer and telecoms; e) Obtain all relevant environmental and statutory approvals for construction of the proposed reconfiguration to the Bayvue Rail Yard; f) Provide technical support for the Rail Terminal Operator; g) Provide on-job training, skills transfer & mentorship for Employer’s staff.
