Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Repairs & Maintenance Minor Tools & Equipment: Repairing of CCT Bedouin tent. Specifications: The City of Cape Town events department requires repairs to a Bedouin/stretch tent: • The repair needs to include fixing of holes and tears to the existing tent; • Multiple tears, holes and previous repair work needs to be fixed; • The replacements of any missing or broken parts; • Multiple anchor poles damaged or missing needs to be replaced all poles existing or new require rubber stoppers at the ends to prevent damage and tearing of tent. All replacement items to be of similar or same quality that of existing items; • Including tie down ropes and ratchet straps to anchor tent in windy conditions; • The cleaning of stretch tent skin/cover; • The outer skin of the tents needs to be washed after all repairs and stitching is done. The completed Bedouin tent should be a 12m x 8m and have 17 anchor poles in total tent poles: 17: • 5,10m x 1; • 4,50m x 2; • 3m x 10; • 2m x 4. • Each pole needs rubber stoppers on end of poles to prevent tearing and damage to ground surface. This contract includes the collection and delivery of Bedouin tent and all replacement items to and from events department.
