Bids are hereby invited for the appointment of a contractor for the construction of gabion retaining walls at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden. Scope: • Clear, remove and grub the rubbish, debris, vegetation, hedges, boulders, shrubs, and trees to a maximum width of 5m; • Dismantle the existing damaged gabions wall, stockpile the stones to be re-used and dispose the gabions baskets to the dump site; • Installation of 132 gabion baskets (1 x 1 x 1 m) Class A, galvanised hexagonal mesh units, neatly packed or filled with new gabion rocks at the front rows. Gabion rock sizes range from 100 mm to 250 mm. The project is located at the Walter Sisulu National Botanical Garden, Pretoria, Gauteng. (Tender №91043544)
