The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) invites quotations from a suitably qualified service provider to conduct training for poor performance & medical incapacity. Training outcomes and content must be under the following main areas (not limited to): • Reasons for workplace incapacity; • Distinguishing between misconduct and incapacity; • Sources of information and guidance for managing poor performance and incapacity; • Company policy and procedure; • Managing poor performance; • Avoiding poor performance; • Job expectations; • Goals; • Performance review discussions; • Analysing and diagnosing poor performance; • Possible causes of performance problems; • Considerations for training; • Guidelines for working through a performance problem with an employee; • Guidelines for giving effective feedback; • Key interaction skills; • Preparing for an incapacity hearing; • Managing incapacity due to ill health/injury; • Other forms of incapacity. Impact of training: • The training will empower participants to implement and monitor a performance improvement process with poorly performing staff in a fair manner and in line with the requirements of South African Labour Law and Company Policy and Procedure. Recipients of training: • Nominated delegates; • In total 07 estimated delegates will be trained. Face to face training. The training should be completed by 15 December 2022.
