Specifications: The Client is requesting supplier to: • Breakdown of the 3m Santa on or about 29 December 2024 (TBC); • The removal and transport off site to a secure indoor storage facility; • 11 x months storage of the 3-meter light Santa; • Full insurance to cover the light structure during storage to the value of R 150 000; • Full repairs and refurbishment need to be done before returning him in full working order; • Purchase of white, red and black tinsel; • Purchase of outdoor red and white outdoor lighting as per the spec; • All electricals including lighting must be IP Rated to be weather proofed for outdoor lighting; • Delivery and installation of the 3-meter Santa in perfect working condition with new tinsel; • Including 4 x newly painted white wooden fencing to be set up surrounding the light sculpture; • Supplier must also provide up-keep of the display during this time. The structural and light specifications for Santa: Decorative lights for Santa: • Multiple circuit 3.5V light chain; • 220V rectifier circuit; • IP67 power connector. Curved truss structure: • 50mm x 3mm aluminium main support post; • 16mm x 3mm diagonal bracing tubes; • 290mm x 290mm spigot couplers.
