Addendum: Amendment to bid document: Bids are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a suitable consultant to conceptualize and assist with the establishment of a Lecturer Development Centre in South Africa. Scope of work: - In the technical proposal, the bidder is required to carefully analyze the list of tasks to ensure the successful completion of the project. The tasks listed shall be provided as assistance to the DHET and the EEC. - The contract for this Project will be executed in two distinct Phases. The first Phase (Concept and Planning Phase) will require the IC to work with the College and the DHET to conceptualize and refine the operating model of the LDC. - In the second Phase (Implementation Phase) full implementation of the project will take place, making the centre fully operational. The IC is expected to assist the DHET, and the EEC with the Project Implementation Plan prepared in the first Phase. - The conceptualization of the project should be completed within the first 6 months of the project duration. Subject to approval of the concept the project will then proceed to the implementation phase. This will be substantively the largest part of the project.
