Bids are hereby invited for the following: Provision of accreditation of aviation technical qualifications for a period of two (2) years. Project Scope: The successful service provider will be required to develop a Project Implementation Plan for the development of new aviation technical qualifications and the articulation of existing qualifications on the NQF using the existing content. The scope of the work will include the following: • Ensuring the articulation and recognition of the Aviation Industry qualifications that are regulated by the SACAA on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF); • Develop and complete all the documents that are required by the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA) for submission to the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) or the Council for Higher Education (CHE), in the process of articulating qualifications on the NQF; • Develop Curriculum / Syllabus and content for the new qualifications that are identified by the Accreditation of Aviation Technical Qualifications Steering Committee (AATQCom); • Participate as a member of the AATQCom, attending all scheduled meetings and presenting progress reports as and when required; • Engage various Aviation industry and Education Authorities in the development of the qualifications and avail yourself of all meetings as scheduled by the AATQCom and Project Lead; • Report to the Project Leader, submit reports, and report progress to the Project Leader biweekly; • Present to the Executive Committee (ExCo) of the SACAA on the progress of the project as and when requested.
