Quotations are hereby requested for the following: Yearly inspections, repairs and maintenance of all canopies through-out Ushaka Marine World. Scope of works: uShaka marine world requires the services of a Canopy and Steel Cabling enterprise to: 1. Carry out a complete inspection and repairs of the 9 Canopies that are situated throughout uShaka Marine World, 2. The entire structural components of Steel cabling, main beams/foundation bolting etc need to be torqued and re-tensioned according to the design tension and requirements, It is the responsibility of the contract to ensure that this is achieved, 3. All canopies are to be high pressure cleaned to remove all debris, dirt and ingress build up, 4. Replace any missing bolts, nuts and washers, 5. Areas of corrosion and paint failure are to be cleaned, prepared and re-painted, 6. Damaged and tears to fabric, holes on fabric etc. is to be stitched or sectional replaced, 7. Stretch material is to be tensioned, 8. All end caps are to be re-mounted and tightened, 9. All cabling is to be tensioned as required, 10. Steel cabling joints/attachments are to be serviced and galvanised, 11. General inspection of any visible defects and rigidness, 12. A certificate of Safe to Use, where acceptable, is to be provided by the Service Provider once all work is completed, 13. A detailed report inclusive of photographs and details of the existing condition is required. Canopies Areas: 1. SAE Animal Encounter, 2. Seals Stadium, 3. Dolphins Stadium, 4. Dolphins Entrance, 5.
