Research is required to investigate the psychosocial impact experienced by whistleblowers and their support structures during their whistleblowing journey, to gain insights into, the challenges and trends faced by psychologists and mental health practitioners when providing support to whistleblowers. From the research the service provider is required to develop a Wellness Toolkit based on the research findings to guide and support both individual (potential) whistleblowers and mental health professionals involved in their care and a discussion paper on the findings from the practitioner"s perspective.
