Quotations are hereby invited for the following: Appointment of a service provider to drill a borehole and install solar pumping system with a storage tank in the village of Ga-Mafefe, Limpopo Province. Specifications: - The CGS wishes to drill a groundwater characterization borehole to understand the thicknesses of the aquifers in the Olifants catchment area; - A qualified service provider is required to drill a borehole and install solar pumping system with a storage tank. The pump is to be installed to a depth of 200m and is expected to supply at a rate of not more than 2L/s at depth. The service provider is expected to deploy Odex drilling method as the ground is expected to dolomitic rubble/gravel; - The pump will be delivered and installed at the project site in the village of Ga-Mafefe, Limpopo Province.
