Scope of work: Planned work referred to herein will include, but is not limited to: • Check correct operation of float switches, • Record the current of the pump, • Check shaft glands for excessive or insufficient leakage or check mechanical seals for leakage, • Check for undue noise or excessive vibration, • Clean drip trays, • Remove Pump from sump, • Check cable and cable entry for any damage, • Check oil level, • Check for moisture or water in motor, • Check rubber hose, • Check release coupling rubber, • Check safety chain and shackles, • Check operation of pump in manual and Automatic, • Check all electrical connections in pump panel, • Visually check pump alignmen, • Inspect coupling for excessive wear, • Inspect motor mountings and vibration pads. Replace and adjust as required, • Tighten all nuts and bolts, • Check and clean strainers, • Operate and check hand valves, • Inspect electrical connections and contactors, • Check motor operating conditions, • Clean, treat against corrosion and repaint all corroded or damaged external surfaces.
