Proposals are hereby invited for the following: Appointment panel of External Verifiers from the date of appointment until 31 March 2028. Scope: - External moderation (verification) of learner results should be conducted by SASSETA External Verifiers; - Conduct site validation visits to check whether the site exists (on an Adhoc basis); - Conduct site visits to check whether the site is conducive for learning (on an Adhoc basis); - Conduct monitoring visits to promote QCTO requirements; - Review internal assessment and moderation by sampling candidates’ work; - Monitor processes and procedures to ensure Training Providers’ decisions are in accordance with accreditation and assessment requirements; - Provide information, advice and support Training Providers in order to share good Practices; - Alert SASSETA of changes that might affect the accreditation status of Providers; - Have the ability to assess Qualifications Learning outcomes, types of assessment methods, scrutinize for validity, reliability, authenticity, currency, and sufficiency (VACS); - Ensure that compliance to accreditation and assessment requirements; - Ensure that consistency in the learners’ portfolio and identify training issues needing to be addressed within the Safety and Security Sector.
